A BILL for the better Observation of the Lord's Day, was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be read the Second time on Wednesday Morning next.

Militia.

A Bill for the Continuing and Assessing of a Tax for the Paying and Maintaining of the Militia Forces in England and Wales, raised for the Security and Preservation of the Peace of the Commonwealth, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, That this Debate be adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of Clock; nothing to intervene.
