Malt.
AN Act prohibiting the making of Malt in the Heat of Summer, was this Day read the First time.
Committee for Religion.
Mr. Bamfeild reports from the Grand Committee for Religion, That that Committee doth desire, That Monday in every Afternoon be appointed for the Sitting of that Committee.
Resolved, That Monday in the Afternoon, in every Week, be added for the Sitting of the Grand Committee, for Religion.
Fish Trade.
Mr. Downing reports from the Committee for Trade, That the said Committee desire, That they may have Leave to bring in a Bill for selling Fish to Strangers; and to permit Strangers to transport the said Fish beyond Seas.
Ordered, That the Committee for Trade have Leave to bring in an Act for selling Fish to Strangers; and to enable Strangers to transport Fish beyond Seas.
Yarmouth Pier.
A Bill for enabling the Town of Great Yarmouth to sell some Lands of their own Purchase, and confirming several Customs, for the better enabling them to maintain their Pier, was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, rejected.
Confirming Sales.
Ordered, That the Bill for Confirmation of Sales be brought in on Wednesday Morning next.
Union with Scotland.
The House, according to former Order, was this Day resolved into a Grand Committee, upon the Bill for Uniting Scotland into one Commonwealth with England.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Bampfeild took the Chair.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Bampfeild reports from the Committee, That they desire Leave to sit on Wednesday next.
Ordered, That the House be resolved into a Grand Committee on Wednesday next, upon the Bill for Uniting Scotland into one Commonwealth with England.
Nayler's Blasphemies.
Ordered, That Mr. Bedford, Major-General Skippon, Mr. Margetts, Alderman Tigh, be added to the Committee for Examination of Nayler.
