THE House this Day proceeded in the Debate adjourned Yesterday, upon the Act touching the Government.
The Question being put, That Leave be given to speak to the Clause of the Bill now in Debate, as to any Addition or Alteration;
The House was divided.

Resolved, That, before the Oath be administered to the Council, these Words be added; viz. "which Oath shall be as followeth."
Resolved, That, instead of these Words, "these Qualifications," these Words be inserted, "the aforesaid Qualifications."
Resolved, That, instead of these Words, "null and void," these Words be inserted, "void, and of none Effect."
Resolved, That, after the Word "Debt," these Words be added, "Bill, Plaint."
Resolved, That, in the Fifth Chapter, after the Word "Council," these Words be added, "hereby to be constituted."
Resolved, That, in the Tenth Chapter, the Word "the" be inserted, instead of the Word "a."
