Prayers.

Customs.

ORDERED, That the Bill for the Farmers of the Customs, touching a Fine of One hundred Fifty thousand Pounds, be read on this Day Sevennight.

Universities.

Ordered, That the Report touching Visitors of the Universities, be made on this Day Sevennight.

Scotch Affairs.

The Lord Commissioner Whitelock reports from the Committee appointed to meet with the Scottish Deputies, A Bill of Oblivion, for Persons of the Scottish Nation: Which was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be now read the Second time.

The said Bill was now read the Second time, accordingly: And, upon the Question, committed to the same Committee that brought it in.

Resolved, That the same Committee have Power to consider of Bondage, Tenures, Wardships, and other Services; and of hereditary Offices, and Sheriff-wicks; and to make some Provision in this Bill, touching the same, as the Committee shall think fit.

Ordered, That the Commissioners for Administration of Justice in Scotland stay all Suits of Law, or Process, against all or every one of the Deputies of Scotland, for the Union, during their Absence in this Employment; and if any thing hath been ordered or proceeded against any of the said Deputies, since their parting from Scotland in this Employment, that the same be repealed, and made void; so that they may be in the same State and Condition as they were at their parting.

Ordered, That the Commissioners for Administration of Justice in Scotland be authorized and impowered to remove such Sheriffs and Commissaries in Scotland, as shall be found unworthy of the said Service, and to supply such Places as are, or shall be, void, with other meet Persons.

Ordered, That the Report of Amendments to the Bill for Relief of Tenants to Delinquents, whose Estates are sold, be made on Tuesday Morning next, the first Business.

Ordered, That the Council of State do take into Consideration, what Prisoners of the Scottish Nation have been taken during these Wars, either in England or Scotland; and to make an exact List of them, and how they have been disposed of, and where they now are; and report the same to the Parliament with all Speed: And likewise that the Council do take Order, that a fit Provision and Relief be given to such of them as are in Prison, and in Necessity, according to the Rules formerly given.

Claims on Publick Faith.

An Act for the better ascertaining the Monies due upon the Publick Faith, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed unto the former Committee, to whom the former Act, touching the Publick Faith, was referred: And that Sir James Harrington be added to that Committee; And all that come to have Voices: And that Mr. Browne and Mr. Weaver, do take care of it: And are to meet in the Speaker's Chamber, To-morrow, at Two of Clock in the Afternoon; and that the Committee be impowered to bring in Names of Commissioners to be inserted: And the Certificate of the Commissioners for the monthly Assessments, in the County of Huntington, be referred to this Committee: And that this Committee, if they find Cause, do give Order for Payment of the Money due to the Persons therein named upon the Publick Faith, according to former Order of Parliament.

Aylesbury Minister.

Resolved, That the Committee for plundered Ministers be authorized and required, out of the Impropriate Parsonage of Aylesbury, which was purchased in by the Feoffees for charitable Uses, to settle a competent Maintenance for the Minister of Aylesbury, as they shall think fit; and to take Order from time to time, that the same be enjoyed, accordingly.

Ordered, That Mr. Millington do make his Report, touching Augmentations, To-morrow Morning.
