Prayers.

Embassy from Holland.

THE Earl of Pembroke reports, from the Council of State, the Papers in French, from the Lords Ambassadors Extraordinary from the States General, with the Translation of them in English: Which were this Day read.

He also reports another Paper, delivered unto him from the Lord Paw, Lord Ambassador Extraordinary from the States General of the United Provinces, in French, and a Translate thereof in English: Which was read.-

Instructions to the Fleet.

Resolved, That the former Instructions given unto the Fleet be vigorously prosecuted.-

Embassy from Holland.

Resolved, That upon Consideration of the Report made from the Council of State, the Parliament doth think fit, and order, that the Council of State do proceed with the Lord Paw, Ambassador Extraordinary from the Lords the States General of the United Provinces, according to the former Directions.

Ordered, That all the Papers reported Yesterday, and this Day, from the Council of State, be sent back to the Council.

Commander under Lord General.

Ordered, That, as to the Nomination of a Person to command in chief the Forces in Ireland under the Lord General, it be referred to the Council of State, upon Conference with the Lord General to consider of a fit Person for that Service: and report the same to the House for their Approbation.
