Wednesday, the 31st of March, 1652.

Prayers.

Letter read.

MR. Speaker, by way of Report, acquainted the Parliament, That a Person from the Prince of Condy delivered to him a Letter, directed, " To the Parliament of the Commonwealth of England:" Which said Letter, being subscribed " Louis de Bourbon," and being a Letter of Credence to Sieur De Barrier, dated at Agen, the 12th Day of March 1652, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the said Letter be referred to the Council of State; with Power to them to hear what the said Sieur De Barriere shall propose.

Redeeming Captives.

An Act for Continuance of an Act, intituled, An Act for Redemption of Captives, was this Day read the First and Second Time.

And the Question being put, That this Act be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the said Act, being put to the Question, passed; And it is

Ordered, That the said Act be forthwith printed and published.

Popham's Estate.

Ordered, That the Act for Alexander Popham Esquire be read on Tuesday Morning next.

Adventurers for Ireland.

Ordered, That the Report touching the Adventurers for Ireland be made on Tuesday Morning next, after the Bill touching Mr. Alexander Popham.

Delinquents Names.

Resolved, That the List of Delinquents Names be now read.

The List was accordingly read; being intituled, " A Catalogue of the Names of such Persons as are certified from the several Counties therein mentioned, to be under Sequestration, either as Papists Delinquents, with whom the Commissioners have had no Rule to compound, or as Delinquents only, &c.

Resolved, That this List be committed to a Committee, to prepare the Names, in several Columns, of such of the Persons in this Bill, as are therein mentioned to have Estates of a like Value, together with the Values; and, upon the whole Debate of the House, to report the same to the House, for the Determination of the House, in order to the perfecting of the Bill for the additional Sale; and that they have Power to confer with such Persons as they shall think fit; and to present the Names of the Papist Delinquents by themselves: And, if they think fit, to consider of some Persons (having considerable Estates) to be presented to the House in the first Place, to be inserted into that Bill; and report the same to the House: And likewise that the same Committee do report to the House the particular Cases, certified from GoldsmithsHall, that they think fit, for the Consideration of the Parliament.

Resolved, That this be referred to the Committee to whom the Bill for the additional Sale of Delinquents Estates is committed.

Price pardoned.

Resolved, by the Parliament, That Sir John Price be pardoned for his Delinquency; and that his Sequestration be taken off, and discharged.
