Prayers.

Act of Oblivion.

THE House this Day, according to former Order, resumed the Debate upon the Bill for General Pardon and Oblivion.

The Question being put, That, notwithstanding the former Order, the Proviso now tendered to this Bill be admitted;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That these Words, "Queen and Prince," be added in the Exception touching Debts growing due to the late King, next after the Word "King."

The Question being propounded, That the Delinquency of George Lord Goring be particularly excepted from Pardon in this Bill, in the Proviso concerning Charles Cavendish:

And the Question being put, That That Question be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put; It was

Resolved, That the Delinquency of George Lord Goring be particularly excepted from Pardon in this Bill, in the Proviso concerning Charles Cavendish.

And, accordingly, these Words, viz. "nor to pardon the Delinquency of George Lord Goring," being added to that Proviso, was, upon the Question, agreed.

The Question being propounded, That these Words, "or of George Goring, or Charles Goring, his Sons," be added in that Proviso:

And the Question being put, That this Question be now put;

The House was divided:
The Noes went forth.

The Question being put, That Mr. Richard Rogers be put into this Proviso;

The Question being propounded, That Mr. Charles Cavendish be excepted from Pardon;

The House was divided.
The Yeas went forth.

So it passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That the Word "Bribery" be added in the Exceptions in this Act.

Resolved, That the Word "false" be omitted.

Resolved, That these Words, viz. "Debentures, Bills of Publick Faith," be added in the Exception touching Forgery.

Resolved, That, in the Exception of Fee-farm Rents, instead of "the 25th of March, it be made "the 24th of June."

The Question being put, That the Word "perpetual stand in the Clause of the Bill now read;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That these Words, viz. "nor resented as a Wrong national or personal," do stand in the Bill;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That the Word "neither" do stand in the Bill;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That these Words, "nor out of Judgment," do stand in the Bill;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That these Words, "or judicial Proceedings," be added.

The Question being put, That these Words, viz. "held and reputed as though never any such thing had been committed, said, or done, and shall be," do stand in the Bill;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That these words, viz. "by Authority of this present Parliament put into Oblivion," do stand in the Bill;

The House was divided.
The Yeas went forth.

Ordered, That the said Act be forthwith printed and published.
