Prayers.
WHereas, by former Order of this House, a Warrant was to be issued by Mr. Speaker, for a Writ, for the Election of a new Burgess for the Borough of Plympton in the County of Devon, in the place of Sir Nicolas Slanninge; wherein the Name of Sir Nicolas Slanning was mistaken: It is now Ordered, That the said Warrant be amended; and the Name of Sir Nicolas Slanning left out; and, instead thereof, the Name of Sir Thomas Hele inserted.
Resolved, &c. That a Warrant be issued, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Issuing of a Writ, for the Election of a Burgess for the City of Exeter, to serve in the place of Mr. * Walker, disabled, by Judgment of this House, to serve as a Member, during this Parliament.
Resolved, &c. That a Warrant be issued, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Issuing of a Writ, for the Election of a Burgess for the Borough of Maidston in the County of Kent, in the place of Sir Francis Barnham, late a Member of this House, deceased.
Resolved, &c. That a Warrant be issued, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Issuing of a Writ, for the Election of one Knight to serve as a Member of this House for the County of Mountgomery, in the place of Sir John Price, disabled, by Judgment of this House, to serve any longer as a Member of this House, during this Parliament.
Resolved, &c. That a Warrant be issued, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Issuing of a Writ, for the Election of a Burgess to serve in Parliament for the Town of Mountgomery in the County of Mountgomery, in the place of Richard Herbert Esquire, disabled, by Judgment of this House, to serve any longer as a Member of this House, during this Parliament.

That a Warrant be issued, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Issuing of a Writ, for the Election of a Burgess to serve in Parliament for the Borough of St. Jermyns in the County of Cornewall, in the place of Mr. John Moyle, formerly chosen to serve for the said Borough, and sithence deceased.

That a Warrant be issued, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Issuing of a Writ, for the Election of Two Burgesses to serve in Parliament for the Borough of Tregonie in the County of Cornewall, in the places of Sir Richard Vivian Knight, and John Polewheele Esquire, formerly chosen to serve for the said Borough, and sithence disabled, by Judgment of this House, to serve any longer as a Member, during this Parliament.
Resolved, &c. That a Warrant be issued, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for the Issuing of a Writ, for the Election of Two Burgesses to serve in Parliament for the Borough of Droitwich in the County of Worcester, in the places of Samuel Sandys, and Endymion Porter Esquires, formerly chosen to serve for the said Borough, and sithence disabled, by Judgment of this House, to serve any longer as a Member thereof, during this Parliament.
An Ordinance for appointing Three Preaching Ministers for the City of Chichester, and for allowing unto each of them, respectively, One hundred and Fifty Pounds, out of the Estates and Possessions belonging unto the Dean, Dean and Chapter of Chichester, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed unto Mr. Rous, Mr. Tate, Mr. Peck, Sir John Temple, Mr. Gott, Mr. Prideaux, Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Bond, Mr. Douse, Mr. Scawen, Sir Richard Onslow, Mr. Swynfen, Sir Thomas Dacres, Sir Walter Erle, Mr. Hoyle, Mr. Blakiston, Sir Wm. Lewes, Mr. Bacons, Mr. John Ashe, Sir Dudley North, Sir Christopher Yelverton; and the Members that serve for the Counties, or any Place of Sussex or Surrey: And they are to meet upon it this Afternoon at Two of Clock, in the Court of Wards.
And the Care of this Business is more particularly referred to Mr. Peck.
