Prayers.
MR. Ashurst reports several Votes of the Committee, to whom it was referred, concerning the Besieging of Chester: Which were read.
Ordered, That it be referred, and especially recommended from this House, to the Committee of both Kingdoms, speedily to consider, What Force is necessary for the Besieging and Reducing of Chester; and what the Charge of the Maintenance of the Forces to be employed in the Carrying on of this Work may be; and to report the same to the House To-morrow Morning.
An Ordinance, authorizing the Commissioners of the Great Seal to pass a Lease of Creslowe-Pastures, in the County of Bucks, for One-and-twenty Years, under the yearly Rent of Two hundred Pounds, under the said Great Seal, unto Cornelius Holland Esquire, a Member of this House, in lieu of the Profits of his Two Places of Paymaster and Clerk of the Green-Cloth, was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read the Second time on Saturday Morning.
Ordered, That the Ordinance concerning the Support of the Prince Elector be read To-morrow Morning, the first Business after Mr. Speaker comes to the Chair.
Ordered, That the Ordinance concerning Trinity-College in Cambridge be taken into Consideration, the next Business after the Ordinance for the Prince Elector.
Ordered, That the House be forthwith resolved into a Grand Committee, to take into Consideration the Matter of raising Monies for the publick Service of the Kingdom.
The House was adjourned till To-morrow Morning.
