Prayers.

AN Ordinance for discharging the Delinquency and Sequestration of Sir Thomas Peyton Baronet was this Day read; and passed, upon the Question; and ordered to be sent to the Lords for their Concurrence.

An Ordinance for discharging the Delinquency and Sequestration of Francis Nevill Esquire was this Day read; and passed, upon the Question; and ordered to be sent to the Lords for their Concurrence.

An Ordinance for granting the Publick Faith unto Henry Lord Blaney, Baron of Monnaghan in the Realm of Ireland, for the Sum of One thousand Four hundred and Five Pounds Six Shillings, due to him for Pay, for Service in that Kingdom; and for referring his Petition to the Committee of both Kingdoms; was this Day read; and, upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

Ordered, That Mr. Henry Herbert, a Member of this House, shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Captain Willoughby, now Governor of Coventry, shall have the Command, and be Colonel, of that Regiment of Foot there, which was formerly the Regiment of Colonel John Barker, a Member of this House, and late Governor there.

The Lords Concurrence to be herein desired.

An Ordinance for putting the County of Surrye into a Posture of Defence, by the better Regulating of the Trained Bands, and raising other Forces of Horse and Foot, for the Preservation and Safety of the said County, and the Pay of such Horse and Foot as shall belong to the Garison of Farneham-Castle, was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read the Second time on Wednesday Morning next.

Mr. Whitehead carried to the Lords, for their Concurrence, the Ordinance for raising Monies in the County of Hants: The Vote for Captain Willoughby to have Colonel Barker's Regiment of Foot at Coventry: An Ordinance for securing One thousand Pounds, out of the Excise, for the Service of the West: An Ordinance for discharging the Delinquency and Sequestration of Sir Thomas Peyton Baronet: An Ordinance for Discharge of the Delinquency and Sequestration of Francis Nevill Esquire: An Ordinance for granting the Publick Faith unto Henry Lord Blaney for One thousand Four hundred and Five Pounds Six Shillings, for his Pay for his Arrears in Ireland.

Sir Thomas Widdrington reports, from the Committee of the Northern Association, a Petition from the Town and County of Newcastle upon Tyne, and Three Propositions thereto annexed: Which were read.

He further reported the Vote of the Committee concerning the last of the Three Propositions: Which was, That Five hundred Tens of Delinquents Coals should be forthwith appointed for Supply of the present Necessities of the said Town. And

It is thereupon Ordered, That it be recommended to the Committee at Goldsmiths-Hall, and the Scotts Commissioners, to confer with the Committee of the Northern Association, for the granting and speedy appointing Five hundred Tens of the Delinquents Coals to the Mayor and Town of Newcastle, to be employed for the Relief of the Poor and Infected, and the Repair of the Walls, Bridges, Keys, River, Harbour, or Haven, and for other Necessaries, for the Benefit of the said Town.

A Declaration, to give Satisfaction to the States of the United Provinces, touching the Taking and Restitution of some Ships and Goods of theirs, and their Subjects, was this Day read: And

It is Ordered, That it be committed to the Committee of this House, that are of the Committee of Lords and Commons for Foreign Affairs, with the Addition of Mr. Maynard, Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Hill, Mr. Prideaux, Mr. Recorder, Mr. Serjeant Wilde, Mr. Corbett, and Mr. Whittacre: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Two of Clock, in the Treasury-Chamber: And are to bring it in on Wednesday Morning next.

Ordered, That the Committee of Adventurers for Ireland, of this House, to whom the Consideration of the Letters from the Lord Inchiquin, and the Letters-Patents, are committed, do confer with the Committee of both Kingdoms, concerning the Report of their Opinions upon the Particulars appointed to be made to the House on Wednesday next.

Ordered, That the Report concerning Mr. Griffith be made on Tuesday come Sevennight, peremptorily.

Ordered, That the Keeper of Newgate do keep Mr. John Gryffyth, committed Prisoner unto him, in such safe Custody, as he will answer Body for Body for him.
