Abstract
Matthew complained that Harbert had given him scandalous words provocative of a duel. Dr Duck presented Matthew's petition in February 1637; but no further proceedings survive.
Summary of proceedings
Dr Duck acted as counsel for Matthew. On 11 February 1637 at the petition of Dr Duck, William Harbert was warned in a cause of scandalous words provocative of a duel. There were further proceedings on 16 February.
