Arnold Child of Barnes, co. Surrey, gent v John Hilton of the same
November 1637
Abstract
Proceedings survive from November 1637, but they do not show either the cause or result of Child's complaint against Hilton.
Summary of proceedings
Dr Lewin acted as counsel for Hilton and on 28 November 1637 he sought a hearing to present expenses on Hilton's behalf.
Notes
Arnold Child of Barnes and of Gray's Inn (b.c.1596) was the eldest son of Arnold Child of Sutton Court in the parish of Chiswick, co. Middlesex, and Barnes, co. Surrey, gent, and Elizabeth, daughter of Mr Weekes of Aldenham, co. Hertford. Arnold's father had deceased by the time of his admission to Gray's Inn on 7 May 1623.
