Entry R, of Silver Street, was accused of promising to heal Mrs Jane Lee's son in 14 days, and taking 15s. in advance (45s. to be paid later). Despite purges, he had died. Anne Jenkinson witnessed to this.

Entry Jane Lee again accused R regarding L's husband and son. A Mrs Jenkinson had given R 20s. to cure L's son. R had also promised to cure Mr L of a dead palsy and had received £3. R said she only used a diet drink and her own balsam, wch she had used for 20 years, and manna, senna &c. R claimed that Mr L was now well. She was also charged regarding Browne, Mrs Graye, Bowen and White.

Entry R tried to get habeas corpus, but this was refused. One Mery agreed to pay 80s. [on her behalf?] and R paid 20s. She gave a bond of £20 not to practise in future.
