Entry G, a surgeon, 'not free', was accused by William Adams, tailor, of promising to cure a saddle sore in 4 days, then treating A for 2 weeks, with purging &c., for £20. G mentioned polypod staechad., sarz., colocynth, and said the drink he gave was senae, hermadakes, epithemeum. He said that A had the French pox & he had cured him with injections to the forehead and diaploretic of diascordicum for 3 months.
