Entry B, of Mark Lane, was accused by Mrs Ellyson of Wapping of treating her for 100s. plus 100s. if cured. B admitted giving dictander, maydenheyre & alehoofe, treacle. Said she had learnt of a fellow, & had been authorised by Endymion Porter & Sergeant Clowes. Said she had the King's authority for cases of convulsion or fits (not true, apparently). Admitted treating Jane Williams for 1.5 years and (*) continuing to treat Richards, shipwright, directing Whittet, surgeon of Cruchat Friers, to let blood. Fee 100s. 100s. on cure.
