Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for making and maintaining a Railroad from Westland Row, in the City of Dublin, to the Head of the Western Pier of the Royal Harbour of Kingstown, in the County of Dublin, with Branches to communicate therewith."
Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to the Consideration of the Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them, to meet Tomorrow, at Ten o'Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings, near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
Petitions from Kilmacanouge against it, referred to the Com ee:
Upon reading the Petition of the Inhabitants of Kilmacanouge, in the County of Dublin, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; taking notice of the last-mentioned Bill, and praying their Lordships "not to pass the same into a Law, and to hear Petitioners by their Agents and Counsel against such Parts of the same as may affect Petitioners:"

Exeter Roads Bill, Accts respecting, referred to the Com ee.
Ordered; That the Account of the Monies received for the Tolls of the Exeter Turnpike Trust since the Year 1803, distinguishing the Amount received on the Roads East or diverging Fastward of the City of Exeter from the Amount received on the Roads North and West of the said City, and also the Amount of the Expenditure on each such Lines of Road; and also the Account of the Amount of Debt from the Exeter Turnpike Trust at the Time the several Districts of Road were consolidated, specifying the Balance due to and from each of them at the Time; and also an Account of the Debt due from the Trust at the Time the last General Annual Statement was made up, specifying how the Amount of the Increase of Debt has been expended, delivered to the House Yesterday, be referred to the Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act to amend an Act of His late Majesty King George the Fourth, for repairing the several Roads leading to and from the City of Exeter, and for making certain new Lines of Road to communicate with the same, and for keeping in Repair Exe Bridge and Countess Wear Bridge; and to make and maintain other Roads communicating with the said Roads," stands committed.
Polloc & Govan Railway Bill Specially reported.
The Earl of Shaftesbury reported from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for amending an Act passed in the Eleventh Year of His late Majesty King George the Fourth, for making and maintaining a Railway from the Lands of Polloc and Govan to the River Clyde; and to alter and extend the Powers of the Company of Proprietors of the said Railway;" "That the Committee had met, and considered the said Bill, and, in the first place, proceeded to enquire how far the Standing Orders of the House relative to Railway Bills had been complied with; and found that all the said Orders had been complied with, and, in particular, with respect to the Standing Order No. 213, that a Draft of the Bill was submitted to a Meeting of the Proprietors of the said Railway at a Meeting held specially for that Purpose on the 31st of January last, which Meeting, it was proved to the Committee, was called by Advertizement inserted for Four consecutive Weeks, vizt. on the 29th December 1830, and 5th, 12th and 19th of January 1831, in the Newspaper, intitd, The Glasgow Chronicle, and on the 1st, 15th, 18th and 22d of January 1831, in the Newspaper, intitd, The Paisley Advertizer, the said Newspapers being published for the Counties of Lanark and Renfrew, to which Counties alone the Bill relates; and that it appears that such Meeting was held on a Period not earlier than Seven Days after the last Insertion of the said Advertizement; and that at the said Meeting the Draft of the Bill so submitted to the Proprietors then present was unanimously approved of; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to their Lordships, without any Amendment."

Dame M.L. Gordon v. Crombie et al. Petition of a Respondent for Time for his Case, referred to Appeal Com ee.
Upon reading the Petition of Alexander Crombie Esquire, One of the Respondents in a Cross Appeal depending in this House, to which Dame Mary Lucy Elizabeth Gordon is Appellant; praying, "That their Lordships will be pleased to grant him Four Weeks from the 12th Day of August to lodge the Prints of his Case:"
It is Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Committee appointed to consider of the Causes in which Prints of the Appellants and Respondents Cases, now depending in this House in Matters of Appeals and Writs of Error, have not been delivered, pursuant to the Standing Orders of this House.
Warrington & Newton Railway Bill.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. John Wood and others;
With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Company of Proprietors of the Warrington and Newton Railway to extend the said Railway from the Termination thereof at Bank Quay, in the Parish of Warrington, in the County Palatine of Lancaster, to Norton, in the County Palatine of Chester;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
The said Bill was read the First Time.
General Steam Navigation Co's Bill.
The Earl of Shaftesbury reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for granting certain Powers to a Company called "The General Steam Navigation Company," was committed; That they had considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations thereof, which were found to be true; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and made several Amendments thereto."

The Earl of Shaftesbury reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more effectually repairing and otherwise improving the Road from Sunderland near the Sea, in the County of Durham, to the City of Durham," was committed; That they had considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations thereof, which were found to be true; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."
The House was adjourned during Pleasure.

Reform of Parliament, Petition of Trades Union of Perth in favor of, withdrawn.
It was moved, "That the Petition of the Mechanics and others composing the Trades Union of the City of Perth and its Vicinity, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; praying their Lordships, "That, as soon as the Reform Bill comes before them, they will lose no Time in passing it into a Law," presented to the House on Tuesday last, may be withdrawn."
The same was agreed to, and Ordered accordingly.
Ecclesiastical Lands Exchange Bill.
The Order of the Day being read for the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to authorize Exchanges of Lands and other Possessions of certain Ecclesiastical Corporations;" and for the Lords to be summoned;
The said Bill was accordingly read a Second Time.
Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the Whole House.
Ordered, That the House be put into a Committee upon the said Bill on Tuesday next; and that the Lords be summoned.
Poor Relief Bill.
