The earl of Fyff, second son of the king of Scotland. On behalf of his chaplain, Congham MacPaden, for the archdeaconry of Argyle, value 30 marks, void by the promotion of John to that see, and unlawfully detained by David Marcad, who holds it by collation of the ordinary; notwithstanding that Congham has the treasurership of the said church, which he is ready to resign.

Archibald, earl of Douglas. On behalf of his kinsman, John de Douglas, rector of Newland, in the diocese of Glasgow, M.A. and B.C.L. for the deanery of Moray, void by the promotion or consecration of Robert de Sancto Claro, translated from Orkney to Dunkeld, or in any other way, and for dispensation to him to hold also the said rectory.

For the archdeaconry of Whiteherne, void by the death of Master Patrick Macduoel, who was not duly ordained; notwithstanding that the archdeaconry has been successively held unlawfully by Stephen de Malstarston, canon of Holyrood, and one Richard Smerles, and that Thomas has the vicarage of Lechrat and the provostry of St. Mary's, Maybol, and expects a benefice in the gift of the prior and chapter of Whiteherne, and of the prioress and convent of Morth Berwick.

Whereas the abbot and convent of Holm, in the diocese of Carlisle, have the church of Kyrkgunnyne, in the diocese of Glasgow, which in time of peace was served by one of the monks, but now, by reason of the schism, and of the wars, Englishmen cannot dwell in Scotland, so that the church is neglected, and committed to laymen, being served now by one priest, now by another, they pray the pope to commit the church to Thomas de Glenluysse of that monastery, in the diocese of Whiteherne, while the schism lasts.
