6 Clement VII. Anti-Pope

1383. (f. 1d.)
The pope, motu proprio, makes provision to Walter Trayl, doctor of civil and canon law, papal chaplain, of a canonry and the deanery of Moray, on their voidance by the consecration of Robert de Sancto Claro, bishop elect of Orkney, and dispenses Walter so that he may hold also the treasurership of Glasgow. Avignon, 4 Kal. Dec.
(f. 25.)
Alexander Steward, third son of the king of Scotland. On behalf of his chaplain, William de Lancea, for the archdeaconry of Shetland, in the diocese of Orkney, void by the death of William Wode, papal collector, notwithstanding that the late William de Bochania held the same for many years, on whose death Walter de Bochania occupied it.
Granted. Avignon, 4 Kal. Dec.
Ibid.
John Nicholai, of the diocese of Aberdeen. For the perpetual vicarage of Logydornak, in the same diocese, void by the death of Robert Maupety so long ago that it has lapsed to the apostolic see, notwithstanding that John Maupety, natural son of the said Robert, has held the same for many years, and that John, the petitioner, has the vicarage of Bolbrey (Boyndie), in the same diocese, which he is ready to resign. Granted. Dated as above.
