REVENUE OF THE CORPORATION.
The revenues of the town are immense, and have rapidly increased during the last half century, notwithstanding the vast sums that have been lost in consequence of the decisions made in courts of law against some of the customary demands of the corporation. The following is a statement of the town's revenue for some years, above a century ago. For the year ending at Michaelmas in—
