Entry A certain Frenchman by name JP appeared and claimed that he would show the College a certain antidote: they would witness the efficacy of this for he would take twenty grains of arsenic with sublimate without thereby suffering any poisonous effects having previously swallowed the antidote. He produced letters testimonial from leading men and universities particularly from Paris and Montpelier ...
