Entry P appeared to defend herself against Eliz. Googe's charge that the diet prescribed by P (for 30s. in advance 30s. later) had not worked. P said the fee was not for treatment but for the ingredients. Googe was described as 'querulous and peevish'. P's husband was one of the King's musicians serving in his chapel. This seemed to be a point in P's favour.
