Entry Dr P was charged with having tried to instal a Doctor not yet known to us, still less a Licentiate, in a medical position at St Thomas's Hospital, Southwark (against the College's own nominee). He said it was not College business & Dr Atkins had approved of his plan; and he threatened to resign. It was decided to acquiesce in his choice of candidate provided the man became a Licentiate.
