Entry F, 'servaunte to Mr. Thomas Apothecarye' and ex-servant to Mr. Sotherton, was asked 'what phisicke hee gave to one Mr. Monye, while hee served Mr. Sotherton'. He said he did not know Mr. M, but had 'made manye Medcynes at his saide Masters appointment ... his Master givinge him directions by word of mouth, not by writinge'. He admitted giving physic to 'one Benskin, whoe laye at one Chafers in Mughill Street', but 'hee neuer made Medcyne but by his Masters direction.'
