Entry RE, a native of Dorset but resident in London, of no university, was examined (details given). He understood but did not speak Latin. He had acquired his knowledge of medicine by travel and from his father, a surgeon and merchant. He admitted he had practised since the feast of St John the Baptist, and had given a drink for the falling sickness to Mr Green junior in Wallbrook.
