Entry	C, an apothecary of Bishopsgate Street, had given Thomas Gwin a lenitive clyster, a pill of Cassia Rhabarbari & Terebinthia Tosta, a bolus of Succinus, Gum Tragacanth, and Mastiches. C said he had given the pill and bolus on the advice of Dr Banister, the potion and clyster on the advice of Dr Jordan (*). Jordan said he had only suggested the clyster and had recommended a potion of Dia Scordium.
