Entry B appeared and refused to reply in Latin, or in English to 'adverse men'. Licentiate's oath and his own submission were read to him. He refused to sign the latter because it was to acknowledge the College's authority. He said that he had denied Sabacus (in his book?) and that he kept no apothecaries. He would not yield.

Sins, unspecified on the form, = making false and unfair statements against the College, making up medicines at home and engaging apothecaries, publishing false medical statements of the Spaniard Sabacus while ignoring Galen, and claiming to be a Fellow.

Entry B had repeatedly failed to appear. In his absence, it was agreed to fine him at least £4 for contumacy, the ignorance displayed in his 'small book', and his outburst against the President. He had read and taken the LRCP oath [but had presumably not actually been admitted].
