Apothecary.
VIII. 4. Letter from the Lords of the Council to the Lord
Mayor on behalf of James Garrett, "our Apothecary," who had
complained that he was opposed and troubled in his profession by
some rather of spleen than for any just cause, and requesting that
so far as it might stand with justice, the Lord Mayor would free him
from such troubles as were of malice and emulation practised against
him.
