A little stable with appurtenances in parish of St. Leonard near the White Swan (q.v.) (Indenture of 1620 in End. Ch. Rep. 1903, St. Clement Eastcheap. p.2).

The premises are mentioned (though not named) in Will of Robert Halliday, 1491 (ib. 1).

Removed 1830-1 for the formation of the approaches to the new London Bridge (ib. 2).

In the Vestry Minutes of St. Helen's it is recorded that a door was to be made to the street going into "Whyt Horse Ally" to be kept locked at dark, the inhabitants to have keys, 1685 (Cox, p.109).

There does not seem to be any such passage in Horwood, 1799, or in the later maps. Site rebuilt as offices and chambers, etc.
