John Griffith of Llancarfan, co. Glamorgan, gent v Roger Williams of the same, tailor

November 1637 - January 1638

Abstract

Griffith complained that Williams had said to him 'thou art a base cheatinge Rascall', and then repeated the words. Williams entered bond to appear on 29 November 1637, but on 27 January 1638 Dr Duck reported that the case had been settled by agreement between the parties.

On 27 January 1638 when Williams was due to appear in response to a warning Dr Duck reported that the case had been settled by an agreement between the parties.
