John C. claims that AG used force and arms to break his close and house at Fordingbridge and his close and house at Sandleheath, Hampshire, allowing his horses, sheep, pigs, and oxen to trample and consume JC's hay, wheat, barley, rye, beans, peas, and oats. Damages are claimed at £40.

Pleading: Concerning the use of force and arms AG says that he is innocent and puts himself upon the country, and JC puts himself likewise. Concerning the remainder of the said trespass, AG says that the places where the supposed trespass took place are adjacent to AG's own close. AG also says that all those persons which had the same rights as JC, to the same closes, from time immemorial, enclosed the said closes. However, JC let his enclosures fall into ruin so that when AG put his animals into his own close they escaped into JC's enclosures due to JC's failure to maintain his own enclosures.

Pleading: JC reiterates his claim that AG used force and arms to break his closes and seeks inquiry upon the country, and AG seeks likewise. Order to the sheriff etc.

Pleading: CT says that the case against him ought not continue because since the making of the aforesaid loan and sale of goods, he and JM underwent arbitration at London, on 19/03/1408. CT claims that he and JM submitted to the arbitration of Hugh L. on the part of CT and John D. on the part of JM. CT says that these arbitrators ordained that he should pay to JM 3s 4d to resolve all disputes between them. CT says that he paid this 3s 4d to JM, and so JM ought not maintain the action against him.

Pleading: TS presents the bond to the court and says that he is ready to deliver it with the court's decision. However, he says that the bond was given to him with the mutual assent of RR and JS, to be returned only under certain conditions. TS says that he is unaware, on the part of JS, if these conditions have been met. Therefore, the decision is that the sheriff is to make JS come before this court in Michaelmas term 1408. RR and TS are given day at the same term.

Pleading: Concerning the use of force and arms, RB and WS say that they are innocent and put themselves upon the country, and RK puts himself likewise. Concerning the remainder of the supposed trespass RB and WS say that after the date of the supposed trespass they and plaintiff RK mutually assented to arbitration, at London, before arbiter Geoffrey G. on the part of RB with WS, and Peter C. on the part RK. RB and WS say that the arbitrators agreed that in resolution of all disputes between them prior to the time of the arbitration RB and WS should give to RK one gallon of red wine. RB and WS say that they gave RK this gallon of red wine according to the terms of the arbitration and so seek judgement.

Pleading: John Standelf claims that Richard H. used force and arms to seize and carry off 16 silver-bound girdles and 20 silver spoons belonging to John Standelf, worth £20, at London. Damages are claimed at £40.

Pleading: Concerning the use of force and arms RH says that he is innocent and puts himself upon the country, and JS puts himself likewise. Concerning the supposed carrying-off of goods, RH protests that the goods were not of the value aforesaid. Further, RH says that after the time of the supposed trespass, namely on 22/10/1406 at Oxford (Oxfordshire), he and John Standelf undertook arbitration before arbitrators John Salvayn on the part of John Standelf and parson Thomas N. of the church of All Saints (Oxford) on the part of RH. It was also agreed that if arbitrators John Salvayn and parson TM were not able to reach an agreement, that RH and John Standelf would then submit to the arbitration of Sir. Thomas Molynton baron of Wemme. Hence, on 22/10/1406 arbitrators John Salvayn and parson TM were not able to reach an agreement, and baron TM decided that RH ought to give John Standelf one gallon of wine to resolve all disputes between them. RH says that he gave John Standelf this gallon of wine in accordance with the arbitration and seeks judgement. [The case ends here with no further information.
