Ordered, That the Lord Goreing shall have a Pass, to come out of France, with his Retinue, and Necessaries lawfully exportable, without Interruption.

Gibbons & al. Participants of Axholme, versus Noddle & al. for a Riot there.

This Day the Complaint of John Gibbons, in Behalf of himself and other Participants of the Isle of Axholme, against Noddle, Tankersley, and Browne, was heard, by Counsel on both Sides.

It is Ordered, That Mr. Justice Rolls and Mr. Baron Atkins do attend this House To-morrow Morning; and then this House will take the Business into Consideration, what Course to take, for Prevention of Spoil of the Place; and that the said Noddle, Browne, and Tankersley, are released of their Restraint concerning this Complaint.

Dr. Heath and Mr. Hakewill return with this Answer:

That the House of Commons agrees that the Committee for Foreign Affairs do meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Three a Clock, in the Painted Chamber, to return the Letter frnm the French Ambassador in Ordinary.

Allen versus Baker, concerning the Ships Pearl Hoy and Box Tree.

Upon the Petition of William Allen, and the Affidavit of Lawrence Dishington, read this Day in the House; complaining against John Baker, touching Two Ships, called The Box Tree and The Pearle Hoy, and for neglecting to put in Security to the Register of the Admiralty concerning the said Ships, according to the Order of the Second of June last:

It is Ordered, by the Lords in Parliament assembled, That the said John Baker shall stand committed to the Custody of the Gentleman Usher, or his Deputy, for his Disobedience to this House, in neglecting to give Security according to the said Order; and that the said Two Ships, called The Box Tree and The Pearle Hoy, with their Tackle, and the Goods belonging to them, or either of them, be forthwith delivered into the Custody and Possession of the Marshal of the Admiralty, to be kept in Safety by him, until the further Pleasure of this House be signified, how they shall be disposed of; any former Orders of this House in any Wise notwithstanding.

Holland and Turner, in Error.

Ordered, That the Cause between Daniell Holland and William Turner, upon a Writ of Error depending in this House, shall be argued at this Bar, on the First of November next, at Ten of the Clock; whereof the Plaintiff in the said Writ of Error is to have speedy Notice, or his Attorney; and both Parties, by their Counsel, are to attend the said Argument accordingly.

Maister to be instituted to Offham.

Ordered, That Doctor Aylett give Institution and Induction unto Edward Maister Clerk, Master of Arts, to the Rectory of Offeham, in Com. Kent, void by the Death of the last Incumbent; salvo Jure cujuscunque; he taking the National League and Covenant, and producing his Presentation under the Great Seal of England.
