A Petition of the Society for Encouragement of Industry and Reduction of Poor's Rates, King's Head Tavern, Poultry, London, was presented and read; praying their Lordships "to appoint a Committee to investigate the Circumstances of the Agricultural Labourers, and provide the necessary Remedies for the pressing Debasement, Privation and Dismay they now labour under."

The Messengers sent to the House of Commons on Thursday last, to request, "That they would be pleased to communicate to this House, A Copy of a Report made from the Select Committee appointed by that House, in the last Session of Parliament, on the State of the Coal Trade; together with the Minutes of Evidence taken before the said Committee, and the Appendix thereto;" in formed the House, "That the Commons had delivered to them a Copy of the said Report, Evidence and Appendix, as desired."
Ordered, That the said Report, Evidence and Appendix do lie on the Table.

The Lord Chancellor presented to the House a Bill, intituled, "An Act to provide for the Administration of the Government in case the Crown should descend to Her Royal Highness The Princess Alexandrina Victoria, Daughter of His late Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, being under the Age of Eighteen Years; and for the Care and Guardianship of Her Person."
The said Bill was read the First Time.
Ordered, That the said Bill be printed.
