Maintenance of Hospitals, &c.

The Bill of Hospitals, &c. being sine die, it was appointed (because of little Business in the House), That the Lords Committees do sit about it this Morning, after the House is up.

Erection of an Academy.

Earl Marshal moved, That the House would consider about the erecting of an Academy, for the breeding and training up of young Noblemen and Gentlemen; which was referred to the Grand Committee for Privileges.

Absent Lords excused.

Earl Hartford excused, not well.

Lord Bishop of Exon excused, not well.

L. Brudnell.

This Day the Lord Brudnell was brought into the House; and having not his Patent in Town, he presented to the Lord Keeper, on the Knee, a Constat out of the Rolls, which was delivered from the Lord Keeper to the Clerk; his Patent bearing Date the Six and Twentieth Day of March, Anno Tertio Caroli; and was placed next before the Lord Harvey, being brought between the Lord Mowbray and the Lord Awdley.
