Lords take the Oaths.
This Day Francis Earl of Guilford, Richard Lord Bishop of London, and Richard Lord Bishop of Durham, took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.
Pleadings proved in Three Causes.
The House being informed, That George Cannon attended in order to deliver in Copies of certain Pleadings and Proceedings in Three Causes depending in this House; in the First of which, Reuben Roberts and others are Appellants, and Patrick Browne & Ux. are Respondents; in the next, William Carrique Ponsonby Esquire, is Appellant, and Prudence Adams and others are Respondents; and in the last, George Lodge Gentleman, is Appellant, and James Mansergh and others are Respondents:
He was called in, and delivered the same at the Bar, and attested, upon Oath, They were true Copies, he having examined them with the Originals in the proper Offices in Ireland
And then he withdrew.
Parliament adjourned.
The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, That he was commanded by His Majesty, to signify to their Lordships. That it is His Majesty's Royal Pleasure that both Houses of Parliament should adjourn to Tuesday the Twenty-first Day of this instant June
Accordingly,
Adjourn.

Granville Earl Gower, Thomas Viscount Weymouth, and Wills Lord Harwich, took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes; their Lordships having first delivered Certificates of their receiving the Sacrament, to the Truth whereof Witnesses were sworn and examined.
John Earl of Bute and Richard Lord Bishop of Peterborough took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure.
The House was resumed.
Parliament prorogued.
Then Five of the Lords Commissioners, being in their Robes, and feeted on a Form placed between the Throne and the Woolsack, the Lord Chancellor in the Middle, with the Lord President and the Lord Viscount Weymouth on his Right Hand, and the Duke of Northumberland and the Lord Harwich on his Left, commanded the Yeoman Usher of the Black Rod to let the Commons know, The Lords Commissioners desire their immediate Attendance in this House:

The Lord Chancellor said,
My Lords, and Gentlemen,
It is His Majesty's Royal Will and Pleasure, That this Parliament be prorogued to Thursday the Eleventh Day of August next to be then here held; and by virtue of His Majesty's Commission for opening and holding this present Parliament, and by virtue of another Commission for declaring His Majesty's Royal Assent to Two Acts agreed upon by both Houses in this Session of Parliament, this Parliament is accordingly prorogued to Thursday the Eleventh Day of August next.
