The Lord Botetourt reported from the Lords Committees to whom the Bill, intituled, An Act for the more effectual draining the Lands lying in the Level of Ancholme, in the County of Lincoln, and making the River Ancholme navigable from the River Humber at or near a Place called Ferraby Sluice in the County of Lincoln, to the Town of Glemford Briggs; and for continuing the said Navigation up or near to the said River from thence to Bishop Briggs in the said County of Lincoln was committed: That they had considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations there of, which were found to be true; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment.

Faindon Common, Bill.

The Lord Sandys reported from the Lords Committees to whom the Bill, intituled, An Act for dividing and enclosing the Open Fields, Meadows, Pastures, and Waste Grounds, in the Parish of Farndon, in the County of Nottingham, was committed:That they had considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations thereof, which were found to be true; that the Parties concerned had given their Consents, to the Satisaction of the Committee, and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment.

Haute Huntre Fen, Bill; The Kings Consent to it.

The Lord Wycombe acquainted the House, That His Majesty, having been informed of the Contents of the Bill, intituled, An Act for dividing a certain Fen called The Haute Huntre, Eight Hundred, or Holland Fen, and certain other Commonable Places adjoining thereto, in the Parts of Holland, in the County of Lincoln, was pleased to consent (as far as His Majestys Interest is concerned) that their Lordships may proceed therein as they shall think fit.

After hearing Counsel, as well on Thursday and Friday last as this Day, upon the Petition and Appeal of Francis Farquharson Accomptant in Edinburgh, Trustee for the Creditors of Messieurs Adam and Thomas Fairholme; complaining of an Interlocutor of the Lords of Session in Scotland, of the 21st of January 1767; and praying, That the same might be reversed, varied, or altered; or that the Appellant might have such other Relief in the Premises as to this House in their Lordships great Wisdom should seem meet: As also upon the Answer of John Adam Esquire put in to the said Appeal; and due Consideration had of what Was offered on either Side in this Cause:

Interlocutor affirmed.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, An Act to amend an Act made in the Fifth Year of His pre sent Majesty, for amending the Road from Chatteris Ferry, through Chatteris and March, to Wisbech Saint Peters, and from thence to Tide Gate in the isle of Ely, and from Wisbech aforesaid, through Outwell, to Downham Bridge, in the County of Norfolk; and for repealing the several Acts for repairing the (aid Road between Wisbech and March; and also for charging certain Lands in Waldersea and on Wisbech South Banns, towards the Repairs of the Waldersea and South Side Banks, which before the passing of the said Act were liable to such Repairs.

After hearing Counsel, as well Yesterday as this Day, upon the Original Petition and Appeal of Noah Webb Esquire; complaining of certain Parts of a Decree of the Court of Chancery in Ireland, pronounced on the 12th Day of December 1765, but which was not settled and signed till the 10th Day of March 1766, made in a Cause wherein Shapland Carew Esquire, Hans Baillie, and John Shiel, were Plaintiffs, and Noah Webb Esquire, Randall Lynch, John Higginbottom, George Woods, Edward Noy, William Knox, James Cox, Marriot Dalway, Christopher Hill, and Thomas Hales, were Defendants; and praying, That the same might be reversed, varied, or altered; or that the Appellant might have such other Relies in the Premises as to this House in their Lordships great Wisdom should seem meet: And likewise upon the Cross Appeal of Shapland Carew, Hans Baillie, and George Woods Esquires; complaining of certain other Parts of the same Decree; and praying That the same might be reversed and rectified, as to this House in their Lordships great Wisdom should seem meet: As also upon the Answer of the said Shapland Carew, Hans Baillie, and George Woods, Es quires, put in to the said Original Appeal; and the Answers of the said Noah Webb Esquire and James Co put in to the said Cross Appeal; and due Consideration had of what was offered on either Side in theft Causes:

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of John Goodere Equire; complaining of several Orders of the Court of Chancery, of the 26th of June 1766, and 30th of April last, made in certain Causes; in the one of which, Trevor Borret and Edward Borret Esquires, surviving Executors of John Borret Esquire, deceased; who was the surviving Executor of Thomas Frederick Esquire, deceased, was Plaintiff, and the Appellant John Goodere Esquire, Administrator of John Goodere Es quire, deceased, who was surviving Assignee under a Commission of Bankrupt awarded against Sir Stephen Evance Knight, was Defendant; and in the other of which Causes, the said John Goodere was Plaintiff, and the said Trevor Borret and Edward Borret were Desern dants; and praying, That the same may be reversed; so far as the same overruled the Petitioners Thirteenth Exception to the Mailers Report therein particularly mentioned; and that Trevor Borret and Edward Borret may be required to answer the said Appeal:

It is Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Committee to whom the said Bill stands committed; with Liberty for the Petitioners to be heard, by their Counsel, against the said Bill, before the said Committee; as may also Counsel be heard for the said Bill, at the same Time, if they think fit.
