Ordered, Shepherd to be sent for, to answer his Contempt, for serving a Subpæna into the StarChamber, at the Suit of Sir William Pope, upon Springe, the Lord Say's Solicitor, whom Shepherde knew to be daily employed in the Lord Say's Service.

Sir Wm. Pope to stay his Suit against Spring during Privilege.

And Sir William Pope to stay his Suit against Spring, during Privilege of Parliament; and to take no Benefit of that Subpæna.

And Memorandum, That Gyfford and, being sworn, testified that Sir William Pope commanded the said Shepherd to serve the Subpæna upon the said Springe.

Sir Fra. Coningsby's Trustees Petition against the Order made for him.

The Petition of Sir John Butler, and others the Lessees in Trust for Sir Francis Conningesby, against the Order 31 Maii, for the said Sir Francis, was read; and the Lord Archbishop of Cant. declared, "That it appeared unto his Grace, and unto others the Referees from the King, touching the said Trust, That the said Lessees had not performed the Trust reposed in them by Sir Humphrey Conningsby, Father of the said Sir Francis." And the said Committee for Petitions affirmed, "That the Lessees, with their Counsel, were fully heard at the Committee; and it appeared unto them, that they had not performed their Trust."
