DIE Sabbati, videlicet, 22 die Martii,
Domini tam Spirituales quam Temporales, quorum nomina subscribuntur, præsentes fuerunt:
Suppressing Disorders amongst Footmen, Pages, &c.
THE Lord Admiral signified unto the Lords, That his Grace hath heard of a great Insolency committed Yesterday against the Order of this House, concerning Footmen and Pages, which he now understands to be done by a Servant of his own; which if he had known sooner, he would have punished himself; and now he besought their Lordships, that the Punishment might be the severer, because it concerned his own Servants, as they may not seem to have any Protection from his Grace.
This Motion was well approved of; and the Examination and Censure thereof referred to the Lords Subcommittees for Privileges, etc. who meet this Afternoon on other Business. And the Lord Admiral promised to enquire which of his Servants it was that committed that Insolence, and to send him to the said Lords.
