Hodie allatæ sunt a Domo Communi Quinque Billæ; quarum Quatuor Publicæ, et Una Privata fuerunt: videlicet,
1. An Act for the further Reformation of sundry Abuses committed on the Lords-day, commonly called Sunday.
2. An Act concerning Citations issuing out of Ecclesiastical Courts.
3. An Act made for the better venting of Dried, Dressed, and Mingled Coloured Cloths and Kersies, New Draperies, and other Manufactures made of Wool, into Parts beyond the Seas.
4. An Act, That certain Clergymen shall not be Justices of the Peace.
5. An Act for the better enabling of Sir George Rivers, Knight, Richard Amherst, Serjeant at Law, and Edward Linsey, Esquire, to sell certain Manors, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, mentioned to be conveyed unto them, and to the Right Honourable the Lord William Howard of Naward, in the County of Cumberland, or some of them, by the late Right Honourable Richard Earl of Dorsett, for and towards the Payment of the Debts of the said Earl, and to raise Portions to his Daughters and Coheirs, the Lady Margaret Sackvile and Lady Isabella Sackvile, according to his Will in Writing; and for the Confirmation of the Sales by them already made of Part thereof, for that Purpose; and for the better settling and establishing of divers Manors, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments of the said late Earl, upon the Right Honourable Edward Earl of Dorset, of the most Noble Order of the Garter Knight, and his Sons, and the Heirs Male of the several Bodies of the said Sons to be begotten; and upon the Right Honourable Ann Countess of Dorset, for Term of her Life, for her Jointure; and upon the Lady Margarett Sackvile and the Lady Isabella Sackvile, Daughters and Coheirs of the said Richard Earl of Dorsett; and upon the Heirs of their several Bodies respectively, according to the Purport of certain Conveyances hereafter in this Act mentioned to be made by the said late Earl, deceased.
The Lord Keeper delivered a Message from the King, in hæc verba: videlicet,
Message from the King, touching the E. of Bristol's Petition.
"His Majesty having heard of a Petition preferred into this House by the Earl of Bristoll. so void of Duty and Respect to His Majesty, that His Majesty hath great Cause to punish it; He hath also heard with what Duty and Respectfulness to His Majesty your Lordships have proceeded therein; which His Majesty conceives to have been upon the Knowledge you have, that he hath been restrained for Matter of State; and His Majesty doth therefore give your Lordships Thanks for the same, and is resolved to put this Cause upon the Honour and Justice of your Lordships in this House. And therefore His Majesty hath commanded me to signify to Your Lordships His Royal Pleasure, that the Earl of Bristoll be sent for as a Delinquent, to answer in this House his Offences committed in his Negotiations before His Majesty's being in Spaine, his Offences whilst His Majesty was in Spaine, and his Offences since His Majesty's coming from Spaine, and his Offence in scandalizing the Duke of Buckingham immediately, but mediately and by Reflection scandalizing his Majesty, with whose Privity, and by whose Directions, the Duke did guide his Actions, and without which he did nothing.
"All which His Majesty will cause to be charged against him, before your Lordships, in this House."
Committee to return the Thanks of the House to the King, for His Confidence in them.
Whereupon a Committee was appointed to attend His Majesty, and present Him humble Thanks from the House, for the Trust and Confidence which His Majesty placed in the Honour and Justice of this House.

And the Committee for Privileges, etc. were appointed to consider who shall be sent to bring the said Earl before their Lordships, and the Manner thereof.
E. of Bristol to be brought before the Lords.
The Committee being returned; the Lord Treasurer reported, That they find the said Earl to be charged by way of Accusation in the House, by a Letter read here in the House; and by a Message delivered by the Lord Keeper from the King; and therefore they think fit he be sent for by the Gentleman Usher.
Whereupon it was Ordered, That the Gentleman Usher shall forthwith bring the Earl of Bristoll before their Lordships, in the Upper House of Parliament.
The House to be called.
It is this Day Ordered, That the House shall be called on Monday next.
Ld. Berkley's Privilege. Lumley arrested.
The Earl of Clare acquainted the House, That one Mathew Frances, having arrested Richard Lumley, Servant to the Lord Berkley, slighted the Privilege of Parliament, with very contemptuous Words: Whereupon it was Ordered, That the said Frances shall have Notice to attend here To-morrow, to answer the same; and that Nicholas Highmore, Cecily Bayly, and Humphrey Fox, shall attend also, as Witnesses to prove the said Contempt.
The Order between Mr. Lasynby and the Lord Scroope was amended, towards the End of it, prout patet 5 Aprilis.
