Counterfeiting the King's Seals.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act against the forging, falsifying, and counterfeiting, of the King's Majesty's Seals, of His Highness's Courts of King's Bench, Common Pleas, The Exchequer, and Dutchy.
Making Arms serviceable.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the making of the Arms of the Kingdom more serviceable in Time to come.
Motion for a Conference with the H. C. touching Religion.
The House was moved, To demand a Conference with the Commons, for them to join with the Lords in humble Thanks unto His Majesty, for His most gracious Answer unto their late Petition touching Religion, and for His Majesty's Care to see the same put in Execution accordingly. The same to be presented unto His Majesty by the Lord Keeper, as Mouth unto both Houses.
Which Motion was well approved of, but thought fit to be deferred at this Time; for that it is to be supposed the House of Commons is not as yet settled for any Business.
Lord Vaux's Privilege.
The Lord Vaux claimed his Privilege, for Stay of the Proceedings of an Information against him in the Star Chamber. And it was granted.
