"Cum nuper, pro quibusdam arduis et urgentibus Negotiis, Nos, Statum et Defensionem Regni Nostri Angliæ ac Ecclesiæ Anglicanæ concernentibus, præsens hoc Parliamentum Nostrum, apud Civitatem Nostram Westm. tricesimo die Januarii, Anno Regni Nostri Angliæ, Franciæ, et Hiberniæ Decimo octavo, et Scotiæ Quinquagesimo quarto, inchoari et teneri ordinaverimus; a quo die idem Parliamentum Nostrum tune et ibidem tentum et continuatum fuerat usque ad et in quartum diem Novembris ultimo præteritum; eodemque die idem Parliamentum Nostrum, ac omnes Causæ et Materiæ inceptæ, et adhuc non terminatæ, usque instantem decimum quartum diem Novembris adjornatæ fuerunt, ibidem tunc tenendæ et prosequendæ: Sciatis tamen, quod Nos, pro certis urgentibus Causis et Considerationibus Nos speciaster moventibus, idem præsens Parliamentum Nostrum, ac omnes Causas et Materias inceptas, et nondum terminates, ut supradictum est, ulterius adjornandum duximus. De Fidelitate igitur, Providentia, et Circumspectione, vestris plurimum confidentes, de Avisamento et Assensu Consilii Nostri, assignavimus ves Commissionaries Nostros, dantes vobis, vel aliquibus sex vel pluribus vestrum, tenore præsentium, plenam Potestatem et Auctoritatem ad præsens Parliamentum Nostrum, ac omnia Negotia, et Materias supradictas, adhuc, ut præfertur, non terminatas, nomine Nostro, ad et in vicesimum diem instantis mensis Novembris, usque prædictam Civitatem Nostram Westm. adjornandum et continuandum, ibidem tunc tenendum et prosequendum. Et ideo vobis mandamus, quod circa praemissa diligenter intendatis, ac ea in Forma prædicta effectualiter expleatis. Damus autem universis et singulis Archiepiscopis, Marchinoibus, Comitibus, Vicecomitibus, Episcopis, Baronibus, Millitibus, Civibus, et Burgensibus, ac Omnibus aliis quorum interest ad dictum Parliamentum Nostrum conventuris, tenore præsentium, firmiter in Mandatis, quod vebis, in præmissis faciendis, agendis, et exequendis, pareant, obediant, et intendant, prout decet. In cujus Rel Testimonium, has Literas Nostras fieri fecimus Patentes. Teste Meipso, apud Westm. decimo quarto die Novembris, Anno Regni Nostri Angliæ, Franciæ, et Hiberniæ Decimo nono, et Scotiæ Quinquagesimo quinto.

Dominus Custos Magni Sigilli, virtute Commissionis prædictæ, præsens Parliamentum adjornavit usque in vicesimum diem instantis Novembris, hora nona.

Commission sent to the Commons.

Memorandum, That the Parliament being thus adjourned, the Commission was delivered unto the Lord Chief Baron and Mr. Baron Bromley, who were sent with this Message to the Commons: videlicet,

"Whereas it hath pleased His Majesty to direct His Commission, under the Great seal of England, unto divers Lords, for the Adjournment of this present Parliament until the Twenfifth Day of this instant November, the said Commission hath been read in this House; and, by virtue thereof, the Parliament is adjourned accordingly.

"This we are commanded to signify unto you, and withall to bring the Commission itself, that you may see it and read it."

Answered,

Commons adjourned also.

"The Commons have likewise adjourned their House unto that Day."
