Moyne Common Enclosure, Bill:
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for dividing and enclosing the Common Fields, lying in the Manor of Shipton Moyne, within the Parish of Shipton Moyne and Dovel, in the County of Glocester, commonly called The North and South Common Fields."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Thurston and Mr. Edwards:
To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
Lady Dinely to have Money to make her Defence.
Upon reading the Petition of Dame Mary Dinely, Wife of Sir John Dinely, of Charlton, in the County of Worcester, Baronet; setting forth, "That, on the 20th Instant, she was served with an Order of this House, for reading a Bill, for dissolving the Marriage of the said Sir John with the Petitioner, a Second Time, as To-morrow; that she is under Confinement in The King's Bench Prison; and though she brought her said Husband a Fortune of about £. 20000. yet she has received no more than Five Guineas from him since her Confinement;" and praying, "In regard to her unhappy Circumstances, that he may be ordered to advance her such Sum of Money as this House shall think proper, to enable her to pay Counsel, Solicitors, and other Expences, in order to make her Defence to the said Bill; and that she may have an Order to compel such Witnesses as she shall be advised will be material for her to attend; and that the Second Reading of the said Bill may be put off to such Time as to this House shall seem meet:"
It is Ordered, That the Petitioner may have an Order for Witnesses, as usual; and that Money be, by the said Sir John Dinely, lodged with the Clerk Assistant, sufficient to enable her to fee Counsel, and procure a Solicitor, to assist her in making her said Defence, and for the Payment of other Expences; and that the Second Reading of the said Bill be put off to Thursday the 10th Day of May next.
Sir James Dashwood's Bill.
The Earl of Litchfield reported from the Lords Committees to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act to establish a Jointure on Dame Elizabeth Dashwood, Wife of Sir James Dashwood Baronet; and for other Purposes therein mentioned," was committed: "That they had considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations thereof, which they found to be true; that the Parties concerned had given their Consents; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."
Ordered, That the said Bill be engrossed.

After hearing Counsel, in Part, upon the Petition and Appeal of Sir William Billars Knight, John Lawton and Nicholas Paxton, Esquires, Trustees for certain Creditors of the Governor and Company of Undertakers, for raising the Thames Water in York Buildings, to which Edward Duke of Norfolk and others are Respondents:
It is Ordered, That the further Hearing of this Cause be adjourned till To-morrow; and that the Cause appointed for that Day be put off to Wednesday next; and the Cause for that Day put off to the Friday following; and the other Causes removed in Course.
Adjourn.
