Trials for Treason, &c. Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for granting to all Persons the Benefit of an Act made in the Seventh Year of the Reign of the late King William, intituled, "An Act for regulating of Trials in Cases of Treason and Misprison of Treason," who shall be proceeded against in Parliament for any the Crimes of Treason and Misprision of Treason in the said Act mentioned."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Friday next.

E. Clanricard versus Burke:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of John Earl of Clanricarde in the Kingdom of Ireland; complaining of a Decree made in His Majesty's High Court of Chancery in the said Kingdom, on the Twenty Seventh Day of November One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twelve, in certain Causes, wherein Gerald Burke Esquire was Plaintiff, and the Appellant and others Defendants; and the Appellant Plaintiff, and the said Gerald Burke and others Defendants; and praying, "That the said Decree may be reversed:" As also upon the Answer of the said Gerald Burke put in to the said Appeal; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed, with Costs.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the said Decree therein complained of be, and is hereby, affirmed: And it is further Ordered, That the said Appellant do pay to the said Respondent the Sum of Forty Pounds, for his Costs in this House.

Sunderland's Petition, Report of the Judges upon.

The Report of the Judges, to whom the Petition of Peter Sunderland Esquire, for Leave to bring in a Bill, was referred, was this Day delivered.

And the House being moved, "That the same be now read:"

It is Ordered, That the said Report be read Tomorrow, the First Business.
