Erection of Common Brewhouses.

THIS Day, the Bill, intituled, An Act for Erection of Common Brewhouses, in Places needing the same, whereby the Subjects may be much eased in the Point of Carriages at the Times of His Majesty's Progress, and Drunkenness the better suppressed, was brought into the House, by the Lord Admiral, first of the Committees, who declared, That the general Opinion of the Lords Committees is, That the said Bill, in every substantial Point thereof, is faulty, and therefore unfit, in their Lordships Opinions, to pass, or any further to be proceeded in.

Establishing Leases by the Prince, and his Officers to accompt upon Oath.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the enabling and making good of Leases and Grants to be made by the Prince; and for the yielding of true Accompts upon Oath by his Highness's Officers, from Time to Time.

Absent Lords excused.

The Absence of the Lord Bishop of London was by the Lord Chancellor excused, for that the said Lord Bishop is this Day necessarily elsewhere employed about his Visitation.

The Absence of the Lord Bishop of Duresme this Day likewise excused, by the Lord Chancellor, for Sickness.

The Lord Chancellor declared, That it is the Desire of the Lord Compton, that the Lords should understand the Sickness is in The Savoy, in the Lord Mordant's Lodging, near to his Lordship's House; in which respect his Lordship hath thought fit to forbear repairing to this Place, until he shall further understand their Lordships Pleasure in that Behalf.

Dominus Cancellarius adjornavit præsens Parliamentum usque in diem Lunæ, videlicet, 12m Novembris, inter horam 9m et 10m.
