Exportation of Beer.

THE Bill, intituled, An Act for Transportation of Beer over the Seas, was this Day returned to the House, by the Lord Treasurer, the first of the Committees, with certain Amendments, and a Proviso thought meet to be added, which were presently Twice read.

Recusants.

The Bill, intituled, An Act to prevent and avoid Dangers, which may grow by Popish Recusants, returned to the House, by the Lord Chancellor, the Second of the Committees, with an Amendment thought meet to be added; which was presently Twice read, and appointed to be ingrossed in Paper.

Ditto.

The Bill, intituled, An Act for the better discovering and repressing of Popish Recusants, and the Education of their Children in True Religion, returned likewise to the House, by the Lord Chancellor, with sundry Amendments, and Provisos thought fit by the Committees to be added, which were also presently Twice read, and appointed to be ingrossed in Paper.

Council heard against Throckmorton's Bill.

This Day (according to the Order and Appointment of the House upon Thursday last) Sir Richard Champernown, Knight, and Mr. Baker (who formerly made Opposition against the Bill of William Throckmorton, Esquire) together with the said William Throckmorton himself, were called into the House, and heard by the Counsel Learned, in aught they had to say concerning the said Bill; and, after Consideration had of the same by the House, the Bill was put to a Third Reading.

Manor of settled on Throckmorton. Expedit.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the settling the Manor of Rie, in the Counties of Glocester and Worcester, upon William Throckmorton, Esquire, and hi Heirs, according to a Feoffment thereof made by Charle late Earl of Devonshire.

Bills of Restitution in Blood.

Memorandum, That it was Resolved by the House, That all Bills for Restitution in Blood ought, before they be admitted and received in Parliament (upon humble Petition), to have the King's Allowance for prefering the said Bills; and then they are to be presented first and begun in the Higher House.

This Remembrance directed to be made in regard of an Error committed Once or Twice in this Kind, by Reason of Bills of this Nature begun in the Lower House.
