Commissioners to treat concerning the Union.
THE Bill, intituled, An Act, authorizing certain Commissioners of the Realm of England to treat with Commissioners of Scotland, for the Weal of both Kingdoms, was returned to the House, with certain Amendments, by the Lord Chancellor, the first of the Committees, which Amendments were presently Twice read, and the Bill appointed to be forthwith ingrossed.

Field and Chard.
This Day, Feild and Chard, Stationers of London, were brought into the House, by the Serjeant at Arms, for the answering of their Offence (wherewith they were charged) concerning the Imprinting of the Book against which the Lower House took Exception, by their Complaint in that Behalf made to the Lords, upon Saturday last; and, because their Lordships did not for the present determine of any certain Course to be taken with them therein, they were therefore enjoined to give their Attendance again upon Wednesday next, 30th May, by Eight in the Morning.
Reding's Privilege.
Upon Complaint this Day presented to the Court, by the Earl of Suffolke, Lord Chamberlain to His Majesty, that one Nicholas Reding, one of the Yeomen of His Majesty's Chamber, had been lately arrested upon Execution, at the Suit of Sir Edward Hales, of Woodchurch, in Kent, and committed to the Prison of Maidstone, in the said County, contrary to the Honour and Privilege of the said Court; it was Ordered, That a Habeas corpus shall be awarded, for the removing of the said Nicholas Reding out of Prison, and for the bringing of him before the Lords in the said Upper House, by the Sheriffs of Kent, upon Saturday next, the second of June, by Eight of the Clock in the Morning.
