Feeedom of Debate allowed concerning Contribution and Retribution.

THE Lord Chancellor declared, That the Matter of Contribution and Retribution, now to be spoken of, would, in his Lordship's Judgement, require Replies; wherefore he moved, That this Day the Talk might not be as at other Times, the Lords sitting in Parliament, when, a Man having spoken, his Mouth is for that Day shut in that Cause; but that the Dispute might rather be as at a Committee. Which Motion was generally allowed; whereupon the Lord Chancellor adjourned, or continued, the Court, ut inferius.

Judges directed to depart.

The Judges, desiring the Pleasure of the House touching their Attendance, not being named specially to attend, were directed to depart.

Adjourn.

Dominus Cancellarius continuavit præsens Parliamentum usque in diem Lunæ, videlicet, 26m Februarii, hora 9a.
