E. of Bellomont's Bill.

The Lord Carteret reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Right Honourable Richard Earl of Bellomont, with the Consent of Lucy Anne Countess Dowager of Bellomont, to sell certain Lands in Ireland, for raising Money, to purchase the said Countess's Jointure, and for paying her Daughter's Portion," was committed: "That they had considered the said Bill, found the Allegations thereof to be true; that the Parties concerned had given their Consents; and that the Committee had made some Amendments to the Bill."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Ordered, That the Bill with the Amendments be engrossed.

Eymer & al. Nat. Bill.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing James Eymer and others," was committed, be revived; and meet on Monday next, at Ten a Clock.

Schism, to prevent the Growth of Bill;

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee to consider further of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent the Growth of Schism; and for the further Security of the Church of England as by Law established."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

Then it being moved, "That the Committee be empowered to receive a Clause, to extend the Provisions in this Bill to Ireland:"

After Debate;

Clause in it for Ireland.

The Question was put, "That the Committee of the whole House, to whom the said Bill is committed, be empowered to receive a Clause, to extend the Provisions therein to the Kingdom of Ireland?."

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Then, it being proposed, "To adjourn;"

The Question was put, "That the House be now adjourned till To-morrow Morning, at Eleven a Clock?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee again upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent the Growth of Schism; and for the further Security of the Church of England as by Law established."

And, after some further Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Archbishop of York reported from the said Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill, and made several Amendments thereunto; which he would be ready to report, when the House will please to receive the same."

Ordered, That the said Report be received on Monday next, at One a Clock; and the Lords to be summoned.

Tobacco Trade, Bill.

Ordered, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for encouraging the Tobacco Trade," be read a Second Time on Tuesday next; and that some of the Commissioners of the Customs do then attend this House.

Causes put off.

Ordered, That the Cause wherein Grace and Rachel Douglas are Appellants, and James More is Respondent; which was appointed to be heard To-morrow, be put off to Tuesday next; and the other Causes removed in Course.

Adjourn.
