This Day Francis Lord Conway took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Jacobsen versus Hannikenius & al.

Upon reading the Petition of Jacob Jacobsen; shewing, "That, on the Sixth of July last, he brought an Appeal before this House, from a Decree pronounced in the Court of Chancery, the 23d of May 1712, and a subsequent Order of the same Court, of the 19th of June 1713, on the Behalf of Balthazar Meno Hannikenius and others; who put in their Answer to the said Appeal, and a Day of Hearing was appointed; but, the Session being near an End, this House was pleased to put the same off till the next Parliament;" and praying, "That a Day may be appointed for the said Hearing:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Nineteenth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven a Clock.

Yarmouth Church, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the building a new Church, or Chapel of Ease, in Great Yarmouth, in the County of Norfolk, by a Duty or Imposition on all Coals, Culm, and Cinders, to be landed there."

Roper versus Hewit & al.

Whereas Edward Roper Esquire, Cousin and Heir of John Roper Esquire, deceased, on the Ninth Day of June last, brought an Appeal before this House, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Twenty-fifth of February then last past, on Behalf of Robert Hewet and others, who put in their Answer thereunto; and a Day was appointed for hearing the Cause, which, on the Eleventh of July following, was ordered to be put off till the next Parliament: The House being this Day moved, "That a Day may be appointed for the said Hearing:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Twenty-sixth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven a Clock.

Wallace versus Hope.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Hugh Wallace, of Engleston, Esquire, from an Interlocutor, or Decree, of the Lords of Council and Session in Scotland, on the Sixteenth of February last, on the Behalf of Sir Alexander Hope; praying, "That the said Interlocutor, or Decree, may be reversed:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Sir Alexander Hope may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Monday the Tenth Day of May next, at Eleven a Clock.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of John Faulconer Esquire and Margaret his Wife, James Craig Esquire, William Larmouth Doctor of Physic, and Alexander Nairn Esquire, Creditors of Thomas Craig, late of Riccartown, Esquire, deceased, from several Interlocutory Orders, or Decrees, of the Lords of Council and Session in Scotland, of the 25th of July 1711, 13th of June and 22d of July 1712, and of the 8th of July last, on the Behalf of John Mushet, Sir James Baird, Mr. Alexander Dalgleish, John Graham and Marg't his Wife, and Sir John Lauder of Fountain Hall, William Carmichael Esquire and Helen his Wife, and others, the Creditors of the said Robert Craig; praying, That the said several Decrees, Sentences, and Interlocutory Orders, may be reversed:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Sir James Baird and the other Parties abovementioned may have a Copy or Copies of the said Appeal; and shall and are hereby required to put in their Answer or respective Answers thereunto, in Writing, on or before Monday the Tenth Day of May next, at Eleven a Clock.
