PRAYERS.

Stewart and Pillans versus Harkness:

After hearing Counsel farther, upon the Petition and Appeal of Walter Stewart, and upon the Petition and Appeal of Thomas Pillans, both from a Decree of the Court of Chancery, the 28th of February last, in a Cause wherein John Harkness was Plaintiff, and the Appellants and Cornelius Denn were Defendants, made on the Behalf of the said John Harkness; praying, "That the said Decree may be reversed and set aside; and that the Petitioners may have such other Relief as to this House shall seem meet:" As also upon the Answers of the said John Harkness put in to the said Appeals; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petitions and Appeals of Walter Stewart and Thomas Pillans shall be, and are hereby, dismissed this House; and that the said Decree therein complained of shall be, and the same is hereby, affirmed.

Adjourn.
