Whereas Monday next was appointed, for hearing of the Cause wherein Charles Earl of Peterborow and others are Appellants, and Sir John Germaine and his Wife are Respondents; the House being this Day moved, by Consent on either Side, "That another Day may be appointed for hearing the same:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Eleven a Clock.
Summers, Leave for a Bill.
After reading, and considering, the Report of Mr. Baron Price and Mr. Justice Dormer, to whom was referred the Petition of Henry Summers Esquire; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the Purposes in the Petition mentioned:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner hath hereby Leave given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the Petition.
Queen's Answer to Address.
The Lord Steward reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address, for a Place to be prepared in Westminister Hall, for the Trial of Doctor Sacheverell; (videlicet,)
"That Her Majesty will give the necessary Directions therein."
Sir Ch. Wren to attend, about a Place for the Doctor's Trial.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir Christopher Wren, Her Majesty's Surveyor, do attend this House, To-morrow, at Twelve a Clock, to give an Account in what Time there can be a Place prepared for the Trial of Henry Sacheverell, Doctor in Divinity.
